Australian Sandalwood Network Executive Committee
The direction and management of the Australian Sandalwood Network Inc is guided by an elected executive committee, consisting of the following people:

Vice Chairman: Bob Huxley comes from a family that has been farming in the eastern wheatbelt since 1922. As a young man Bob left the area to do a social work degree, working in that industry and later in professional fishing before he returned to Gabbin in the Shire of Mt Marshall to continue with traditional broadacre farming. In 1997, he decided that he needed to make his farm more environmentally and economically sustainable and started on the road to what has now become his main passion – planting WA sandalwood on a large scale. He was greatly inspired and encouraged by Dr Geoff Woodall (Centre of Excellence in NRM), Tim Emmott (Greening Australia), Jon Brand (Forest Products Commission) and the Australian Sandalwood Network and feels he owes much of his success to their mentoring over the years. bob_huxley@bigpond.com
